Default Need Clarification: Harry Potter sets with extras

Hi anyone,

Any Potter die-hards out there that want to straighten out the various complete sets of the 8-films that have extras? I know there are a bunch out there and it's hard to distinguish for a newbie.

Thanks!

They got "Ultimate Editions" a while back with new documentaries. Those discs were then put into the large Hogwarts Collection and also new 2-disc editions with the object covers released this year. All the same discs.

If you want those new features ignore the original single disc releases and the cheaper collections.

So - the hogwart's collection is the benchmark for now?

It's likely the cheapest way to get the best discs, yes. Also has a bonus disc I believe, though I have never watched it.

Are these the single titles with the same extra features as the hogwart's collection?

Better off ordering the new 2 Disc sets from Bullmoose. I got all 8 movies with bonus features, and their own cases for less than $80 shipped.

Yeah, the Hogwarts Collection has nearly everything from the initial DVD & BD releases and the Ultimate Editions plus an additional bonus disc. I believe the only extra that is missing is a TV special hosted by Jason Isaacs that appeared on the original BD/DVD release of Order of the Phoenix. I haven't had the chance to compare, but it's supposed to be very similar to other material included n the set.
