Thumbs down Just watched Transformers.

I just finished watching Transformers and I gotta tell ya...not because i'm a Blu-ray fanatic or anything, but this was bar-none probably the worst steaming pile of sh** I've seen all year.

Shia LeBouf, you get an F for being an overrated actor.

Megan Fox, you're hot, but your acting has the emotional depth of a tree branch. F

Michael Bay, is it possible to complete a scene without lens flares? All your flims suck. F

Am I alone here? I can't imagine why I've seen so many people on this forum cry because they can't get Transformers on Blu.

Waste of film.

Sorry Crackhead, I guess I'm just not around to see it discussed to death because I don't live on this forum.

If you want to watch a good Transformers movie I highly recommend the 1986 classic (which is on Blu if you import!)

I totally agree with you in every way. Bayformers was complete and utter trash.

Oh Snaps. Good comeback

Yet another case of someone getting mad because something was been discussed before. It's silly. Get a life people.

Transformers was overrated, just another special effects movie. It wasn't horrible though. Just way too long.

I thought for what it is - a sci-fi effects movie - it was done very well. Opionions are GOOD to have.

Good, entertaining movie, great special effects, but definitely way overrated.

I thought Transformes was a great movie. But I also likes The Island, Armageddon, and other Bay films. I know Im not the only one who likes his films/style, but he obviously isnt for everybody.

I would've liked it a lot more if it had more scenes with, y'know, TRANSFORMERS in it. Got sick of Sam's family and fat ass hackers and comedy relief government agents REAL quick.

I know CG is expensive, but there was no excuse for the treatment the title characters got, especially the Decepticons.

dude, you OWN both of the FF movies and Transporters - Come on now, really?

im late to the party with this, but here goes anyway

the directing and special effects were pretty good, i like Bays style, but the film missed the spot for me, mainly because Optimus Prime kept spouting stuff that youngs kids woould have appreciated, the cartoon goody goody stuff you expect in..cartoons..and seeing as im not 12 and was looking for lots of needless violence, i felt it kind of missed the age range it was being shown to, if you follow what i mean. Less morality, more blowing stuff up for me please. Cross it with DieHard and we are on the way!

I like Armeggedon(love that disney movie park ride!)cracking film.

Hahaha, well played sir. O.k. o.k. fine..i do own them and yes they are guilty pleasures in my collection.

I guess the biggest problem I had with the movie other than the points i listed originally was the dialogue and the pace of the movie. The scene where Shias character is looking for the glasses in his room is drawn out and overdone. A lot of the movie just felt out of rhythm to me.

The CG was amazing.

As is to be expected from Mr. Bay. I will wait to see Transformers again when it comes out on Blu-ray, and we'll see if my opinions change. I think it was quite a drawn out experience, as you said. That's was hurt it for me.

I saw "The Island" for the first time this weekend, shame I waited so long to see it. I much preferred it to "Transformers". It has a great plot, better pacing, and some awesome car chase scenes. And Sean Bean, the master at playing bad guys. I'm willing to give Bay a chance after watching it.

Agree with these points. However the main selling point of the film to me was the visuals. It lived up to all of MBs previous films. If you disect the film you can find so many things wrong with it, but eye candy films such as these should not be disected.

I will be the first in line if this ever comes out on BD. I will not get the DVD nor will I get the HD DVD. Stupid Paramount.

They could've SO done without Anthony Anderson and Rachael Taylor's parts in this movie.

But then again, limited budget is what probably took out more time from the actual Transformers - all that CGI work was expensive.

And John Turturro's character flat out upset me. He's better than that.

Ha ha, I had forgotten about that. Any time I see Anthony Anderson in the credits of a movie, I've learned to just keep moving along. He is such a money-*****. And to think, I actually watched Kangaroo Jack.

That was one of many stupid things they did to make Transformers longer.

I agree about the age group this was aimed at. I really wanted to see people die, I wanted to see military guys get wiped off the map. But what do we see, a CD radio making silly noises in air force 1 and transformers playing "don't alert the neighbours" for 15 minutes.

Its your typical movie about some kids that know more about national security than the government. They even hire kids in the movie for that very purpose

As for expense. LoTR must have cost more than TF.

I'd give TF a 7/10. I liked the Island better.
