On December 18, 2007, video game publisher Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. (SCEA) filed to protect the trademark Resistance 2 in relation to a videogame. Resistance 2 will be the sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man, a first-person shooter developed by Insomniac Games which follows Sgt. Nathan Hale as he and the Earth-based resistance forces attempt to force a mysterious alien invasion out of Great Britain... will feature vehicles in the multi-player version of the game, and will conclude with a cliffhanger ending that sets up a Resistance 3.

We always knew another game was bound to come out for this, it practically was the BEST selling launch game & it stood up in it's own right as a good game too

Be good to see what the continuing story will be for this & eventually the conclusion to it

Resistance is good but when you play COD4, it feels like half as good.

You have to remember that RFOM was a launch game & most launch games aren't as good as what we have got now but it can still stand on it's own with the gameplay it offers & story, the type of gameplay in RFOM is also different, COD4 is more nitty, gritty & realism in a game for modern war as the name implies

resistance 2 though should be a good follow up, the story alone for the game makes it worth a buy i think & the online was one of the best from any launch game & still stands today

Resistance was and still is the best launch game for the PS3. Yes, it is already a bit dated in direct comparison with other FPS out now, but they got what they wanted which is all the spotlight with little to no competition at launch, and now they got a market interested in sequels much larger than if they released Resistance 1 right now with so much more competition. I am one of those gamers...

Hard to believe they will not go full 60FPS with the sequel, and up the graphics..

Now if I could just get my skeletion back that they took from me online.. bastards
