Does anyone know if there will be a sequel to Resistence: Fall of Man?

Yeah, they are already working on it. it is supposed to be coming out some time next year. I bet there is already a thread about it, check the search function.

I heard they're planning one. I don't know if it's in production. I'll bet that it's going to be pretty badass though.

I thought I read somewhere, though unconfirmed, that it would take place in the rest of Europe since Britian is the only saved for the moment. I think I also read of the possibility of a prequel set during the Russian outbreak, but that seems unlikely to me since I imagine they'd want to follow and develop the Nathan Hale infected thread a bit more.

That's the old title, but the storyline has changed a bit to be more compelling. Now it's "Resistance: Fall of Man's Best Friend". You play as a very physically fit, intelligent dachshund.

wow i love rumors.... if you do research insomniac is a small business. Their company is working on solely ratchet and clank. When it's release they will shift gears into Resistance. Supposedly they are going for a trilogy in each game ratchet n resistance. Ted Price said they will alternate and try to get games out each year like they have in the past.

Rise of man will not be the title, that's the rumor that makes me laugh. Someone simply implied it one day then everyone beleives it the title. haha.

I hope they do continue that "Hale infection" story line.

Clearly that's where it would go. An insider also told me that your dachshund will bark to communicate, and that all that anyone walking by as you play would hear, but that the headset that comes with the game will actually decode the barking into English exactly like Lassie communicated with the family.

"What's that boy... Hale is unconscious in a foxhole behind that flank of Chimera? Alright, I'll rescue him, you take out the tower emanating the hypnosys signal"... Arf!
