I got the 8500 this year for $190 on Amazon. Think the 9500 will be much better? Why have t any other companies, namely Panasonic, been putting out 4K players? Are they just not profitable yet? Maybe the 8500 will drop to $100! I'd gladly get another for that price but for a BF price of $200 (presuming it goes on sale like the 8500) I'd prefer the better of the two.
