December 2016 50 Movie Challenge

The obvious choice is to go with holiday movies, but we are of course going to watch a lot of non-holiday stuff as well. So this month is another "Make-Your-Own-Challenge": 10 categories, 5 movies each. At least one has to be holiday movies and/or shows (Christmas/Hannukuh/New Year), but the rest are up to you: genres, actors, directors, decades... whatever you want.
If you do holiday TV episodes, it takes two hourlong or four half-hour shows to count as one movie.

The usual details:

• 50 movies is the goal, but based on your own time and situation you can shoot for more or less, so we have different levels from Bronze to Platinum:
  60 Movies - Platinum
  50 Movies - Gold
  40 Movies - Silver
  30 Movies - Bronze
• If you're going to repost your entire list each time, please hide it under spoiler tags
• If you are going to post pictures for the films (poster art or bluray covers, for example) please try not to use GIANT pictures, and if there are tons of them, again - please hide under spoilers
