Default Horror film all nighter?

Anyone programming a home bound Halloween horror film all nighter?

I’m considering this line up:

The Innocents (1961)
The Mist (2007)
Bay of Blood (1971)
Halloween (1978)
The Gates of Hell (1983)
Frankenhooker or Basketcase

It’s not so easy getting the right mix. But fun.

Possible subs include: night of the creeps, city of the dead, crimson peak, near dark

I've done Universal's Frankenstein Series all night before. Then, I picked the first three. Then it was down to two. You get the picture. But, yes, it is fun.

I'm planning one also. The only person watching them all is me. The family will come and go depending on the movie.
The lineup is -
Friday the 13th Part 6 (next up on the box set watch)
House of Dark Shadows
Swamp Thing
Halloween (1978)
Night of the Living Dead (1968)

Man, I wish I were in Tarantino's inner circle. He's known for his all night film fests, and I'd bet his Halloween fests are epic.

If you're doing an all nighter you need something really crazy and mind grabbing in there - classics are great but the problem is that often those are so familiar if you're getting tired they might not grab you.

Henelotter is a good choice for that sort of thing. Stuart Gordon too; if they're not too familiar. Piranha (2010) is a loud kinetic 'party' film for a kick. Shaw Brothers if you like foreign films.

I've never done a Halloween Horror film all nighter but this is the first year I'm planning on it, due to covid and the fact that the holiday falls on a Saturday. My plan isn't to do an entire Universal Frankenstein watch but I'm thinking of the following:

Dracula (1931)
Frankenstein (1931)
The Wolf Man (1941)
The Ghost of Frankenstein (1942)
Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943)
House of Frankenstein (1944)

A mix of the originals and the latter day films that mix and match the monsters. I'll see how far I get if I start at 5pm.

Ideally around 2-5 am you play something that they can't be sure wasn't a hallucination resulting from sleep deprivation.

I'm a night owl to begin with. Plus, those masterpieces always keep me alert and awake!

I think if I were planning an all nighter using readily available streaming films people may not have seen it would be in this order.

Butterfly Kisses [Prime] (Creepy far out)
Forest of Lost Souls [Prime] (Slower artsy black/white, good but more methodical)
Autopsy of Jane Doe [Netflix] (Epic wtf scares)
Dave Made a Maze [Prime] (Surreal comedy horror)
Housewife [Prime] (Dreamlike abstract plot with pumping soundtrack)
The Heretics [Prime] (Crazy body horror)
Super Dark Times [Netflix] (Tense modern film with paranoia might go well with cranky people in the a.m.)

I find it curious you're watching Halloween 5 but not it's continuous preceding film Halloween 4; why is that?
I watched H4 yesterday myself and it's not my favorite because there's a lot of build up and exposition to justify Myers returning.

Many years ago I remember going to see a Friday the 13th all-nighter at the local ABC in York (Parts 1, 2 & 3).

The problem with a film franchise like this is that they almost always deteriorate in quality over the course of the series.

So after 3 or 4 hours, you start to wonder why you're bothering.

Or, in the case of Children of the Corn, after 3 or 4 minutes. Seriously, how did the first one even get made?
