What's the consensus on the new menu style seen in Sony 4K titles?
I personally never had a problem with regular pop up menus. I liked being able to chapter select or put in subtitles while the movie was playing, it's actually really inconvenient how it exits out of the film if you want to access any of that. I also prefer seeing a list of selectable bonus features instead of having a whole page slide dedicated to each one. It makes accessing them take exponentially more time, it's more time-consuming than regular DVD. I wonder if Sony might revert back to pop up menus. I don't have a lot of 4K titles but Fox and WB use the same menu styles as the Blu-rays and I love that. If it ain't broke don't fix it. What do you guys think?
