Info comes from an IGN video that states

That's actually a bit worrisome. I really like Harada, but fighting games require a rock steady 60 frames per second. If there's one thing Unreal Engine has had difficulty with on consoles, it's maintaining framerate.

On the other hand, I'm certain Harada won't compromise on framerate, so at worst it will make the game look a little less pretty than it might otherwise have, and we'll still have the reduced input lag from the PS4 controller, so there's that.

I am a huge Tekken fan. been playing these games since tekken1 back in the arcades. Tekken is my favorite fighting franchise ever. I really hope they release actual gameplay soon and not cgi.

We are getting more info at comic con later this month. Hopefully we get some gameplay at CC.

Well, we got something, not gameplay, though.

I read a rumor that the game might release THIS year, but that can't possibly be true, can it? All I've seen is the CG opening.

Edit: Nevermind, just saw the release date is May 2015. Looks like we'll be Tekkening around the same time we're Mortal Kombating each other. Throw a SF in there and I'm set.

I personally hope it's more like Tag Tournament 2 than like 6. A lot of people didn't seem to like Tag 2, but I thought it was the best Tekken in a long time (definitely my favorite on PS3, though I liked the downloadable Tekken 5 quite a bit as well).

Meh. Bring on Soul Calibur 6, only do it right this time, not that farmed out gimped out version they called Soul Calibur V.

I wanna see Soul Calibur done properly for the PS4. Preferably current gen only, but most likely it'd be on last gen as well.

Yeah it does. I worry about the console release timeframe though. It's usually at least a year from arcade to consoles. I guess/hope it'll be worth the wait.
