I've been racking my brain whether or not to upgrade to 4K from 2K, and to be honest, I have some serious doubts.
I've read many reviews where the standard blu ray is superior to the 4K in audio/video quality. Why is this? Can they not put exactly what's on the standard disc onto the 4K disc? If 4K is supposedly the better technology, why the discrepancy? Some of the reviews I've read (Terminator 2, in particular) have been abismal for the 4K, yet a blu from ten years ago gets a phenomenal rating. What the hell's up with that? I don't see why every disc that comes out can't have a 5/5 rating. I'm not a techno-geek like so many of the people on the forum are. Take your time, talk very slowly and please try to answer the questions I've presented here. Thanks |
