A Bronx Tale coming to 4K UHD in October! This is a MOD release directly from the film's production company TriBeCa Films.

Studio canal have it and they love 4k

I'm talking about the US. Studiocanal does not have the rights here from what I can tell. If they did, I imagine we would have seen it come out from Lionsgate.

edit: Actually, I think this is being released through Universal's MOD. MovieZyng lists the production company TriBeCa Productions, but the UPC for it are the same ones that Universal uses. I know Universal did release the film on DVD via Focus Features

But it can be imported and if there is a master I would bet they will release it

A welcomed surprise. I have the old UK Blu-ray from years ago and couldn't help but notice how poor the transfer is last time I watched it.

Yeah the original 1080p StudioCanal release was awful, it even got re-released and made worse by another company as 1080i.

MovieZyng doesn't have a 4K filtering category, so they lump it into the DVD one for some reason. The company owner is pretty responsive, so I'll perhaps contact him and see see if he could fix that.

It's no doubt going to be a pressed disc. This isn't DVD we're talking about.

And if Universal is starting to release 4K titles this way, it could be very ideal to see others as well like Phantasm II for example (less Well Go puts out a box set).
