Default Man on Fire and Sunshine reviewed

SUNSHINE AND MAN ON FIRE on hometheaterspot.com

Sunshine

http://www.hometheaterspot.com/fusio...hp?tid/140150/
Video:
“All-in-all the visual dynamic, grain structure, and high frequency detail appeared to be preserved quite nicely. And the films visual design is a feast for the eyes for sure. It looks absolutely incredible in Blu, with no noteworthy loss anywhere to be found. You name it, detail, colors, dynamic range, they all look incredible and usually well preserved by the encoding. The void of space isn’t quite as deep as the shadows underlying the spacecraft itself, which makes some shots outside the ship look a little awkward. But that’s a criticism of the visual effects, not the disc or encoding. Black levels are always deep and well enough defined.”

Audio a little bit surprised and I agree still want to experience it myself
DTSHDMA is far and slightly better than DolbyTHD and PCM

Audio:

“DTS has been known to or at least suspected of pumping bass and surrounds on DVD for years. And it sounds like that might be the case here. Surrounds are extremely aggressive with lots of directionality. But the volume almost seemed to shift balance more to the rear of the room than just about any other sound experience I’ve heard from either PCM or TrueHD. And if the room can hold up to this mixes low frequency extension, that’s where I’d want to be in the event of an earthquake. Bass is deep and there’s a lot of it. But, it’s also fantastically articulate in how the lfe track is used. Whether the sound design has been augmented by DTS or not, it offers quite the overwhelming experience.”

Audio marvelous

"The sound doesn’t get any less attention by the production or this disc. Preserved for the first time in a lossless DTS fidelity that should be bit for bit identical to the master, the audio has a sense of presence and creative direction that leaves you equally filled and entertained. Effects don’t come up short, especially the mixes low end which pounds repeatedly both for reinforcing the action and extending the films atmosphere to lower depths. This one will shake up your room, to put it mildly."

Enjoy it and i swear i'm waiting the moment to experience DTSHDMA

ALL it depends on PS3 and hopefully soon we can decode it through.SONY if you want to explode everything now released it.

I really don't care to hear about how good it is until I'm able to actually experience it for myself, and that will only happen when Sony decides to upgrade the PS3 with it... and they are being more tight lipped about this than they should be.

Default DVDFILE.com experience Man on Fire exceptional PQ

Video:

"The film's theatrical aspect ratio of 2.40:1 is presented in a vivid and highly detailed high definition transfer compressed with the AVC video CODEC. Razor sharp and devoid of any noticeable artifact, small object detail and finely grained textures are outstanding."

Indeed they are. Thinking about it, watch them make us wait till the end of the year to get the awesome DTS MA decoding. *sighs*

There were some points in Sunshine where I though my sub was going to take my face off and that was with just the lossy core.
