Default 12 Monkeys Blu-Ray - German Release ?'s

Simple question.. according to this..

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...9&postcount=27

This release has an ENGLISH track for audio in adition to GERMAN right? So that means, if I buy it, I can listen to it right?

Also, anyone know if the cover art is in german?

Thanks!

19 EUR - about 21 USD

I don't think they ship to the US. I am working with another person in Germany to see if he can ship it to me

Through Amazon Germany: 19,95 Euros = approximately $29.44 (1 EUR = 1.47547 USD). You can scroll down to the bottom of the Amazon Home page for a link to their German site. I believe they will ship to the U.S. I probably should order this as well.

Amazon.de does ship to the US, but it's around 14 Euros, which means you're going to pay about US$50 for the title.

Artikel: EUR 16,76
Verpackung & Versand EUR 14,00

Gesamtsumme ohne MwSt.: EUR 30,76
MwSt.: EUR 0,00

Gesamtbestellwert: EUR 30,76

30.76 EUR = 45.4019 USD
Euro United States Dollars
1 EUR = 1.47600 USD 1 USD = 0.677505 EUR

Yeah, the shipping is prohibitive. I can wait until my next trip over there.

Yeah, my friend over in Germany said about 18 dollars to ship it here. Comes out to about 50 bux roughly for the title.

I am not sure I want to spend that kind of money.

German releases do have German text on the back.
As far as I know from DVDs, all non German language movies come dubbed and also with original language audio as well as subtitles, not sure though if this will be DTS only or maybe even have master audio.

Ok, here some info by someone who wrote a summary:

25GB disc using VC-1... they're a bit underwhelmed with the quality (too grainy and soft colors)
2 DTS HD language tracks.
DTS-HD Master is german, doesn't say what the english one is though.

I'll try look around on some other sites and let you know when I find more info.

It's so expensive because the exchange rate is so poor. Why is the US dollar so weak? Many factors I know but I wonder if it is good or bad for the economy.

It's certainly horrible for the few international shoppers like me (I always want to get the german release for the audio).

I own this title. The spine is in english. The cover art (back) is in german.

The on-screen main menu titles are in german, so you do have to make some educated guesses as to the right selections for the audio and "play movie", but I can asure you that this BD is excellent and does have a terrific DTS-HD english soundtrack.

A well-done title indeed.

Hmm.. I am gonna wait. Between the costs being so high and the release itself being part German.. not worth it to me right now.

Thanks though for all the info. Yes, it scares me that the dollar is so weak. Very scary! Why?

Buy 20 of them - you'll sell them on here no problem.

I'd take one!

That would be wrong! I'm surprised it's not being done though. I'll have to look on ebay.
