It doesn't offer any technical details regarding video or audio.

Where did you get the 1080p video and DTS-HD audio from? I looked through the entire page and other than some guy talking about its mpeg 2 encoding, I did not see any of this. Now I'm curious.

Amazon always has only a few informations (i don´t know why)
so i watched another few sites where they have more details...

The first thing I did was to go do some research about the title on some other websites but found nothing. I guess you're that good.

Believe it or not I WAS going to check the studio (Concorde) that was actually releasing it in Germany. That was the only option left. I guess you beat me to it. Congrats.

Sorry to bump a slightly old topic, but I was wondering if anyone can confirm if the movie is able to play on a region A player (preferably a PS3). I'm very interested in buying this. I was hoping someone may have received a copy was able to test it. Thank you.

I just ordered 12 Monkeys and Der Schakal (The Jackal) and will keep you in touch about the region coding.

I ordered 12 Monkeys a couple weeks back and it has shipped to me from amazon.de

I will report on region coding as well (I also ordered the concorde release of Phantom of the Opera)

Which studio owns distro rights on this one?

My scandic (egmont) DVD seems to have both Universal and Columbia/tristar (present day Sony) logos on it

Im just asking should i go around universal and order german copy or wait for sony release...
