Slingbox and PS3

Does anyone have their PS3 hooked up to a Slingbox??? Just wondering how it works for you. I gave my bride a slingbox for xmas to operate her cable box/DVR remotely so i thought I might wanna hook the PS3 up to it so I could watch movies or listen to my music through my PS3 media centre from where ever in the world I am, hahahaha. ain't technology awesome. anyway, just curious to find out if it works for anyone.

I do, i had my bluray playing on my Sling Box HD in 1080i it was clear but not crazy like a tv, it worked, provided the bit rate was over 3000 and i had a good connection. still a very cool way to go bluray!

As far as streaming media, you can use a PSP for that. Both the slingbox and PSP use WiFi so, with a PSP, you can access your PS3 remotely.

However, the PSP won't play PS3 games or Blu-Ray remotely unfortunately.

How do you control the PS3? Seeing how it has no ir and Slingbox only controls via ir
