I was thinking about picking one up, but I dont know if its worth it. I was wondering if any of you had one and would tell me Pros and Cons about it

Your link doesn't work for me, so is it a product marketed by http://www.slingmedia.com/ ?

If so we are using a small network of them (expected to grow) for allowing our ENG shooters to stream live content into our live broadcasts and I hate it. My feelings about it do not refelct its potential usage to you necessarily - simply as its being used in our application.

So if its the same company, ask away.

I use slingbox hd myself and find it pretty good. When i go on business trips i am able to watch all my shows on my laptop. Its worth it if you travel alot, or go away to college, but the downside is, if someone is home and they change the channel on you, you are screwed! lol.

It's great if you travel frequently and have access to broadband internet. I hear it is also useful for college kids living in a dorm.

AliceT is right. I was trying it out for a former employer of mine (they were a wholesale distributor who was considering selling the product) and it was really only useful for when I was travelling AND my wife didn't touch the TV remote. I would think this would be useful for a road warrior who has nobody living with them.

You should also consider looking up the LocationFree player by Sony.

It’s been out for a few more years then the Slingbox.

You can even use it to stream media to your PSP/cell phone on the go.

My gf used to watch my TV on her PSP when she was in Korea!
