So I just looked at the upcoming schedule of releases and there really isn't a MASS SCALE MUST HAVE release until May 6 when Twister comes out. Even that one isn't a MUST HAVE like Spidey or Pirates.
Overall, this could signal a stall in the war the next 6 months as the releases are stale. Yes, there will be titles that come out by then that each one of us will have to own for one reason or the other, but there isn't a title that will get everyone to Best Buy at noon on tuesday during lunch hour to buy up. CES will have to prove fruitfull in terms of announcing NEW must have titles!! 1. Indiana Jones to help with new movie? 2. Star Wars? This could be a long 6 months for both sides??? |
