Question Question about Dolby Vision

My TV supports both HDR and Dolby Vision but my UHD player only supports HDR. I know that UHDs that support Vision are now being released. Will I have to buy a new player? Thanks in advance for any info. Cheers!!

If you're happy with your HDR experience I'd probably wait until you have to replace your current UHD BD player. From what I understand the real world benefits in upgrading aren't huge if you've already have a player.

I don't believe your TV supports Dolby Vision.

I have to agree with Salty, unless you have something other then the Samsung in your sig. Samsung hates DV and doesn't support it on anything.

I don't recognize his TV model at all, suggesting a pre-4k model.

The OP looks like they have an older signature, as their UHD BD player isn't listed either.

Sorry, old signature. I have the LG OLED65B6P. Looks like I will need to upgrade the player to take advantage of the Dolby Vision. Cheers!!
