Another new year calls for yet another new thread for 2024! This thread is for listing your anime purchases on a monthly basis, just as has been maintained in previous years. The major changes within the anime world this past year is making it so much harder to continue collecting physical anime on Blu-ray and DVD, and I myself am expacting to cut way back on my anime purchases in 2024.

The idea behind this thread is to maintain a single, Full-Year posting near the beginning of the thread, and update it regularly throughout the year. Just a few items to keep in mind for this thread:


1. Reserve your initial posts early, so they are more readily accessible!

2. Those of you who purchase a large amount of anime, or like to use a lot of color formatting in your lists, may want to reserved 2 consecutive posts for your yearly lists, since posts do have a character limit.

3. Please adhere to the format that the lists in this thread are for ANIME ONLY, and not for Manga, Figures, Books, and Games purchases.

4. Please try to refrain from general comment posts in the thread until a few weeks after the new year starts - I like to give people time to get their initial post spaces reserved nearest the beginning of the thread. Thank you for your cooperation!


You may post your monthly/yearly costs for purchases if you like, or just keep a plain list of the anime you purchased each month. It has also now become a regular practice to post up the anime titles you've actually received each individual month, at the end of each month, at the current end of the thread. I like being able to keep a record of both anime purchased and anime received each month.

Here is hoping for a good crop of physical anime releases in 2024! And I'm also hoping I can keep my own list for this year a bit more current than I did in 2023, lol!
