A new year, A new thread for 2023! This thread is for listing your anime purchases on a monthly basis, just as has been maintained in previous years. Hopefully the changing of the times in the anime world this past year doesn't make it too hard to continue collecting a substantial amount of physical anime on Blu-ray and DVD in 2023.

The basis for this thread is to maintain a single Full-Year posting location near the beginning of the thread, and update it regularly throughout the year. Just a few items to keep in mind for this thread:


1. Reserve your initial posts early, so they are more readily accessible!

2. Those of you who purchase a large amount of anime, or like to use a lot of color formatting in your lists, may want to reserved 2 consecutive posts for your yearly lists, since posts do have a character limit.

3. Please adhere to the format that these lists are for ANIME ONLY, and not for Manga, Figures, Books, and Games purchases.

4. Please try to refrain from general comment posts in the thread until a few weeks after the new year starts - I like to give people time to get their initial post spaces reserved nearest the beginning of the thread. Thank you for your cooperation!


You may post your monthly/yearly costs for purchases if you like, or just keep a plain list of the anime you purchased each month. It has also now become a regular practice to post up the anime titles you've actually received each individual month, at the end of each month, at the current end of the thread. I like being able to keep a record of both anime purchased and anime received each month.

Here is hoping for continued Happy Anime Buying in 2023! An also hoping I can keep my own list for this year a bit more current than I did in 2022, lol!
