Which TV shows would you like to see in Blu? - Blu-ray Forum

I don't know if this has been discussed before. I tried a search and didn't find anything. I would really like to see the new Discovery shows in BLU. My top shows would be:

1. Deadliest Catch
2. Ice Road Truckers
3. American Chopper
4. NCIS/CSI

ALL the HBO series' (Oz would be cool...but I'm not double dipping unless it's really worth my while) especially all of the ones I haven't gotten to see...Rome, Deadwood, Carnival....and then Dexter.

What other shows in this vein are there?

I would love to see MTV's "The Head" on Blu-Ray, but I don't ever see that happening.

Series that didn't really get the best deal on DVD.

Eg:
- X-Files. I love the series but the DVD release was lackluster for a lot of it. I need to rewatch on my new TV, but on my old, I kind of found a lot of color bleed on reds.
- Buffy. That is probably out of the question as the CG in the series was done for 60Hz NTSC over 24 frame film. So basically to do a half decent release they would HAVE to redo the CG. Which would not be a bad idea, but they'd need a good business case to do it (eg, convince Fox they could make a tidy profit from it)

I mean there are a lot of shows I love and own on DVD (eg, CSI, NCIS, Tru Calling, Criminal Minds, Arrested Development, My Name is Earl, Numbers, 4400, Angel, Dark Angel, Prison Break, The Unit), but I am pretty satisfied with the SD releases of them. Some of them though, the source or the transfers let them down somewhat.
