Default Dreamworks titles you want on Blu-ray

Because Dreamworks is owned by Paramount (I guess, I don't know the ins and outs of that deal), a lot of Dreamworks movies are going to be released on HD-DVD. If in case Paramount spits out the HD Kool-Aid and it actually starts releasing it's movies on Blu-Ray, which ones do you want to see released on Blu-Ray. I'm including movies they've co-produced with other studios.

The two that I really want to see on Blu-Ray are AMERICAN BEAUTY and ALMOST FAMOUS. Both of them are absolutely perfect movies. Not only do they look great, especially the former with Conrad L. Hall's cinematography, but they have great characters, a wonderful story, perfect music and are just all around great films. Plus, I already have them in my collection, so I'd like an upgrade. I know Wes Bentley when he was doing press on GHOST RIDER said that they recently recorded another commentary track for the movie for like a 10 year anniversary edition of the DVD. So if that can come out in Blu-Ray, that would be great.

As for co-productions, with Warner's, A.I. and the recent SWEENY TODD.

I don't know what it really is but I see both the Fox and DW logos on the back of the DVD but I want Minority Report bad. Oh, and Gladiator would be cool too.

Not a single Dreamworks Animation movie will ever enter my house.

Other films, sure. But only in lossless audio. Which has been suspiciously absent from all of their high-def releases.

Private Ryan should come out on Blu because it's a Speilberg directed movie, regardless of whether Dreamworks stay with HD-DVD or not.

I'd say Gladiator, Sweeney todd and Saving private ryan and a few others.

I'm worried that if they (mostly just Gladiator and SPR worry me) get released on HD DVD before it dies we'll likely just end up with a port of them instead of a fresh encode with lossless that we could otherwise potentially get.

I thought Steven Spielberg directed movies (saving private ryan) wouldn't be hd-dvd exclusive. Or is that just paramount,

Oh, and I forgot one more title. HOUSE OF SAND AND FOG. Totally underrated movie, and gorgeous to boot.

I dunno. Personally I could care less about GLADIATOR. Thought it was an overrated movie.
