Default Funai Blu-ray player to be released under $300

i saw a lot of people asking about this.

Funai to Release Final Standard Profile Player for Under $300

Funai Corporations has announced the release of its first Blu-ray Disc player, the NB500, for the North American market.

The player is expected to be Final Standard Profile (which means it will decode secondary picture in picture video) and full 1080p, with a retail price point projected to be under $300.

Annnnd now I'm holding off on buying a Sony S300...

EDIT: I hope Sam's Club starts carrying them. I'm supposed to be getting a decent rebate check from my Sam's Club Discover card in February and I planned on putting that towards the S300.
