Default How do you label your movies with alternate cuts?

This is really user preference, but since I can't decide, when do people generally consider a movie's alternate cut to be a formal part of its title? Here are three examples:

>Blade Runner: The Final Cut
>Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut
>Spider-Man 2.1

I think that the name of the cut actually belongs in the first two, since they involve more than just extended scenes and include changes in editing. "Spider-Man 2.1" should just be "Spider-Man 2," however, since it is just an extended cut.

Thoughts?

I call them by what the director calls them. End of story.

I'm still working on my system, but the plan is the title of the movie and then multiple labeled entries in the 'Runtime' column as necessary.

I keep my list in a spreadsheet. I indicate the title as the title with no alteration (so "Blade Runner" is "Blade Runner"). If the disc only has one cut, and it's not the theatrical cut, I add a bracket to the title (so Star Wars would be a "final director's cut", or California Split would be "edited for music rights"). If the disc has multiple cuts, or multiple aspect ratios, or a colorized version, I have a seperate column listing that (also if the disc has just one aspect ratio, but it's the wrong one, as with Spielberg's "Duel"). There's also another column which is kind of a catch-all for notes, this would be where I would list additionally available cuts (foreign releases or older formats) and sequels and any other bonus features and updated transfers. It sounds a little confusing to describe (and I didn't even get into the color coding), but as long as it's properly maintained, it's a good reference document for me.
