I've pre-ordered your forthcoming double bill release of Arthur Marks' Roommates / A Woman for all Men and I can't wait :-)

As I don't use social media, I'm contacting you here, and was wondering if you have any plans to release Bonnie's Kids, The Centerfold Girls or The Candy Snatchers on blu ray .

There are no words on extras. The Dark Sky DVD of Centerfold Girls included a great Making-of documentary. If they don't port it over, I will keep the DVD. Moreover the cover of the Blu looks lame.

I would be surprised if the extras aren't ported over. I don't own Bonnie's Kids, but the "making of" on The Centerfold Girls was only about 15 minutes.

On the release of The Roommates / A Woman For All Men, each film had a little 10 minute "making of". So I'd say it's a pretty safe bet they'll be there.

I think that THE CENTERFOLD GIRLS also had about 20 minutes of the musical score isolated, or something like that.

They replied to my mail asking if they had plans to release it on blu. Their reply was :

Tentative for June.

Seems too close to be true, but I'm over the moon that this is happening

Looks like the DVD extras for both movies have all been carried over, plus the blu-ray includes a new 15 minute interview with Tiffany Bolling.

I sold my Centerfold Girls DVD for $10 and ordered the new blu-ray for $15 shipped from Barnes And Noble with the Father's Day coupon. Should be here later this week.

Sorry we have no info on this title. Any updates of our new releases will be listed on http://www.mpihomevideo.com.

They've always been nice to reply to me, but this is the first time where I've had a reply that basically leads nowhere I hope this release will happen.

Not at all surprised. When they mentioned June, I automatically assumed they were referring to The Centerfold Girls / Bonnie's Kids.

When I asked them about The Candy Snatchers, I made it very clear that I was asking about The Candy Snatchers and nothing else (bear in mind also that they'd already given me a release date for Centerfold Girls / Bonnie's Kids - see the top of this page).

Do you have any plans to release The Candy Snatchers on blu-ray ? I guess you know, but Tiffany Bolling stars and Arthur Marks was a crew member on this one, and it is rightly regarded as a exploitation classic.

If, unfortunately, you have no plans for a blu release, would you have any idea which label now has rights for this ?

Was going to order the Australian individual releases but this double feature works out much cheaper.

I just finished watching my Gorgon Blu-ray of Bonnie's Kids.

I love every minute of this movie, and it looks pretty great on this Blu-ray.

Tiffany Boiling and Robin Mattson are a trip as the title characters. Tiffany Boiling is just gorgeous eye candy across the board, and I'm looking forward to seeing her later tonight in The Centerfold Girls.

The legendary Alex Rocco and Timothy Brown are perfect as the partners who were a big influence on Jules and Vincent in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. ("The Bonnie Situation" chapter in Pulp Fiction was named after this movie, incidentally.)

Since I am a 1980s kid, it is impossible for me to see Max Showalter in a movie without thinking about his role in Sixteen Candles. For that reason, I was laughing whenever he was on the screen.

Lenore Stevens is beautiful in this movie, but one of her final scenes involves the most jarring politically incorrect moment that I've seen in recent memory. This was filmed in the 1970s, though, so just roll along with it.

Really good movie!


For some odd reason, the existence of this fine Blu-ray escaped my attention until I saw it in a recent thread about 1970s proto-slasher films. Better late than never.
