Why start this thread now ? It just came out in the Theaters and this comes to Blu Ray in over 3 1/2 months . Are we just starting for the sake of starting threads ?

I, for one, was hoping it would come out around that time.

Since it hit theaters in Sept, I figured it would be out next spring but I was hoping for the day after X-mass or so. I think it's a popular release time for certain titles because they hope people will cash in gift cards for it.

This movie really should have gone all out. Piranha was a mindless flick, but it was fun because they really did the whole exploitation thing with it, and there was TONS of blood and gore, and boobs for that matter. Shark Night 3D was PG-13 and was weak sauce. I'll pass on this.

I was expecting fun like Piranha 3D but this one fell short. Still worth a pick up I guess, my sister might like it lol.

They should push it up a week to December 20th to get those Christmas sales.

If Transformers 3 & Captain America can get quick releases I don't see why this movie wouldn't.

Why? You two make no sense.

Media releases released after Christmas make bank each and every year. Everyone has gift cards or returns to make, so why not release it when people now have money to blow? December 26th would be ideal, but it is what it is. If released in a BD-3D combo pack, I see people buying it for those who got 3DTVs for Christmas.

Never thought of the gift card.

But still people are thinking of stocking stuffers and gifts not what they will buy with gift cards and who's to say that they don't already have a blu planned to buy with the gift card.

Not a smart move business wise. To me I could give two shits.

It was just another generic 'kids go to a lake house and have a party and bad things happen' kind of film.
This pretty much sums it up.

I watched this tonight & found Piranha 3D to be more entertaining. Shark Night has all the usual cliches with a Scream type of ending "My ex-bf's a psycho!". Tbh the fan service is disappointing (seriously, it shouldn't even register as 'sexual references') & the shark scenes are boring to watch - Piranha 3D (as terrible as it is) just seems to do everything so much better

For anyone who likes these type of b-grade movies I say skip it & get Piranha 3D if you don't already have it
