With the recent review/release of Universals "Apollo 13" remastered in 4K from original 35mm elements, where is the remastered 4K release of Jurassic Park? Is it possible we will see this in the not to distant future given that Jurassic World is coming out June 12th? Maybe we'll see both a remastered Jurassic Park along with a release of Jurassic World, both in 4K........

The DNR isn't as noticeable when viewed in 3D. The DNR issue on the 3D version is slight compared to the EE issue on the 2D presentation. The 3D version is legions better with stronger colors, clarity, and detail... even with the DNR.
Hopefully a 2D 4K release will happen eventually but for me the 3D presentation feels definitive. |

It doesn't have stronger colors. It has a warmer color palette than the original theatrical presentation, which really dulls a lot of the primary colors we see throughout. Also, DNR is applied to the entire image, left and right. Removing one 'eye' doesn't magically make the DNR less of an issue. In fact, it kind of makes it worse since there's no 3D to focus on. |

The original color timing was warmer and I am sure that the actual 4k remaster without the 3D (you know darker etc.) and without DNR looks almost exactly like it did back in the 90s. |
