Talking Exploding HD DVD software sales - Market Projections 2008
I guess the headline from this thread has a whole new meaning now

Well folks 2007 is behind us and the question remains, how can a format which has a 10 to 1 hardware advantage, only have a 2:1 lead in software sales? This tenuous lead is being eroded as we speak!

How far will BD continue to bleed at the expense of HD DVD this year, and when do you predict that HD DVD will take the inevitable lead?

Personally, my spreadsheets predict a decisive lead by the end of this year as the software attachment rate to HD DVD stand alones is a force to be reckoned with. How far will the HD DVD juggernaut go in 2008? My prediction is the sky is the limit.
