Well, color me shocked! Never thought that Pre-Go Go Boys Cannon flick would ever see a release. Might have to pick it up.

Fantastic news. I'm particularly surprised since MisterLime previously said this one didn't have a HD master, so I figured it must be with someone like Shout or Arrow.

Same here, I never figured Joe would make it to blu-ray. I watched this for the first time last year and really enjoyed it. That ending...

Holy %$# - I believe the expletive is warranted, since I'm amazed that this obscure & extremely underrated Peter Boyle film is actually coming to Blu. I never thought this would happen.

Joe is an amazing film. Great portrait of the early '70's era. The tensions between the young hippies & the older, middle-aged conservative adults/parents (with diametrically opposing viewpoints) is extremely well depicted here.

Peter Boyle & a young Susan Sarandon were great in this, as was the other middle-aged actor who played the lead.

Good announcement, but I have to ask about the etiquette of creating these title threads based on Amazon postings. In any other thread like for Criterion or Arrow, I have noticed that people put titles in spoilers before any official announcement has been made. As Olive hasn't announced these titles, shouldn't you be following the same protocol of not spoiling these releases until they're officially announced?

Ok I seen this first time viewing 3 years ago and it not very good but not sure and so I will watch it again before change my mind. I know Susan Sarandon's film debut.
