I've owned a BenQ W1080ST going on a couple years now as shown here. For the money it's hard to beat. Only negative for me has been the fan noise which is a little louder than I'd like. A moderate amount of volume does a good job drowning out the fan noise though. Actually looking to sell mine at this point as I've upgraded to a projector with a longer throw. Have moved to a constant image height setup which requires a 14-17 foot throw distance.

I have the 1085ST and will echo the fan noise complaint, but I have no choice as its installed in a spare bedroom as my man cave/HT and need the short throw. Other than that it has a beautiful picture on a 92" screen.

is the fan mode reduced in Eco mode? I have a huge sound bar so it probably won't be too much of a problem for me lol. but thanks for the responses! can't wait to set it up.

No difference with my W1080ST anyway. It's a great projector nonetheless. Enjoy!
