Downloading Songs on GH3 to the PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

Does anybody know if it's possible to download new song for Guitar Hero 3 to the PS3? They have that option in the game but I don't know how to do it.

Do they sell a separate guitar without the game for Guitar Hero 3? Thanks in advance for any help.

u download the songs off of the PSN networks, and u can buy seperate guitars at a local gamestop or ebgames, some have them used, u can also use the PS2 guitars, with an attachment, but they arent as good as the PS3's. Best buy is also supposed to start selling a wireless one, but they are really expensive!

I'm going to try to download from the PSN network it right now and check Gamestop or Best Buy for the second guitar!

Correct. Songs are available on the Playstation network. The older song packs are featured under the "View All" category.

GH3 standalone controllers are NOT available (new)...yet. Should be later this month. The PS2 GH1/2 controller DOES NOT work with GH3. Through a PS2-to-USB adapter you MAY get partial functionality playing GH1/2 on your PS3 but DON'T COUNT ON IT.

I tried a ps2 to usb adapter and had no luck with it. I would suggest just waiting until the standalone guitars are released, as previously mentioned, they should be out later this month.
