downloading to PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

Just wondering if it is possible to download torrent files to a PS3? If it is what is the best way to do it. I'am also trying to use my PS3 to access my pictures from my home computer via my home network. Any advice would be appreciated.

To stream media to the PS3 you can use TVersity (if you have Windows) or you can google around for other media server applications. You can also simply copy the pictures over with a thumb drive or external hard drive.

I have windows for my PC. Can I download it to my PS3. Not sure what TVersity is? Or where to get it.

You can't download torrents using the PS3. Most media files can be played or streamed to the PS3 however (no .MKV, lossless AAC).

Google TVersity.

Yeah, it is possible to download torrents to your PS3, but they will never actually work. Shame, I know.
