I don't know if this is official, but i was reading DVD review in asda this morning and on there listings of coming soon for Blu-ray they had Armageddon.

I'll stay calm until I hear of an official release. But this title done the right way with all the supplements available would make my Blu-ray year.

I wonder if this is why the UK release of Bad Boys was pulled. It was supposed to be released this month, but isn't anymore. It is now postponed to some unspecified time.

I wonder wnat version of Armageddon it is.

I would love ARMAGGEDON on BD. Can you imagine how that one will rock with lossless audio.

I find this very hard to believe. The latest from Michael Bay himself was that the Master copy of the film was distroyed in a fire. There are other copies but he would need to take one of the copies and remake another Master copy. Then he could work on the Blu ray version of the film. He said with completing Transformers 1 and getting ready to start on Transformers 2, he had no time frame on when he will be able to get to it. This was said in an interview that took place about a month before Transformers 2 started filming. I doubt he has had the time.

Im wary too, but note that Buena Vista have a digital master that they used for international releases of Armageddon on DVD, which are all anamorphic unlike the USA release. Nots sure if this master is even located in the USA at all and may be the reason that the UK might be getting a blu-ray version out first.

I can't believe my eyes; is it finally true......Bluray.com states that we can expect Armageddon in May 2010 on Blu? This is one of my four all time favourite movies that I am desperately waiting for; another being Forbidden Planet appears to be coming in September 2010. Now if only Jurassic Park and True Lies would be announced; what a year that would be!
