The Seagull (2016) plot: The Seagull centers on the romantic and artistic clashes between fading actress Irina Arkadina (Annette Bening; fresh-faced ingénue Nina Zarechnaya (Saoirse Ronan); famous writer Boris Trigorin (Cory Stoll), Irina's lover; and failing playwright Konstantin Treplyov, Irina's son who is in love with Nina. All four come up against one another while visiting a country estate owned by Irina's brother.

I was looking up Saoirse Ronan on IMDB and I could not believe she was was born in The Bronx, New York City, New York, USA. She has such an Irish accent but in her IMDB write up that when she was three she moved to Ireland.
