This is weird. My old headphones died yesterday so today I ran to Best Buy and got a well reviewed replacement (Corsair HS60). My TV (Samsung KS8000) does not do analog out because it likes to be annoying, so I was using a digital to analog converter to use my headphones. Everything worked great before. Plug my new headphones in... wonderful audio, but no voices/center channel. What the heck?
They're stereo headphones and my player (Sony X800) is set to stereo downconversion and PCM. I googled a ton today and found basically no one with a similar issue. Anyone got any ideas? If it matters they are PC headphones, since I am a gamer too, but again they just plug in with a 3.5mm thing and are stereo, same as the last ones. |
