Well, as long as they stick with the poster artwork.

I didn't know how fast to cancel my Force Awakens steelbook pre-order when the final artwork was released

I cancelled quicker than you can say WTF!

I've pre-ordered the Zavvi steel book (if they keep the original artwork). If not I'll cancel like TFA.
It's now £12.99 for TFA steel book so I hope they learned their lesson.

But, will something limited appear at some point?

I've been wondering this, but I have a feeling maybe not this time around. It's not part of the new trilogy, which I imagine will all get special edition treatment, and they've already announced the 3D so I'm reckoning it'll be just this, and the same for the other standalone movies.

Nice they're not making us wait for the 3D.

I'll probably wait anyway. It's not like it's going to sell out.

Just booked tickets to see this on Monday - I'm a Picturehouse member ('til January) and they now do cheap Mondays, so only cost me a fiver.

I will see Episode VIII in IMAX 3D next year though, especially considering it's Rian Johnson...and Star Wars.

Yeah, they might compile the Anthology films together and release them as a set...if you don't mind waiting 'til Christmas 2020!

Might be my first UHD release - if there's one planned?

I'm figuring, as it's Disney, we'll get a shiny slipcase on initial release for each of them, so that's the route I'm going for uniformity.

Booked to go see it tomorrow night at the Hengrove Cineworld in Bristol. The sights I'll get to see out of the number 75 bus window on the way might make the movie seem less exciting...

Saw it last night. I enjoyed it well enough, but it's not without a couple of glaring problems.

Why?

From what I've heard it adds nothing, like most other conversions.

you said from what you heard. And then went on to say "like most conversions" which is not really true anymore. Conversions is getting better and better. But we are not getting anywhere here. I love 3D and you seem to not be a fan.

I once heard Jehovah’s Witnesses banging on about God. Does that make me a believer?

Anyway, this would go on forever.

I've pre-ordered the steelbook, draw your own conclusions from that, fingers crossed they don't bugger up this one

Will pick this up on release day. I'm an employee so will buy it from Sainsburys for a 10% discount so it should cost me thirteen and a half pounds. Thought about seeing it at the cinema but it's just so damn expensive. It's cheaper to buy a physical copy rather than buying two tickets for the wife and I. Am looking forward to seeing it. Would be curious to read other members' thoughts on the film. Am also curious as to when the blu-ray will be released, as soon as possible would be nice.
