Default Amazon Shipping Question?

This is like my 5th time ordering from Amazon, but I received an email notice that my order of shipped on Monday (Jan 7). Usually that means that in a day the tracking info changes from shipper notified to being received by the distribution center. Then I usually get it in my mailbox the next day. This time however my tracking status hasn't changed since Monday. It still states that the shipper was electronically notified that my package was ready to ship. Is it still possible that I can get my package today or tomorrow without the tracking status changing?

Same problem here with a book order

Usually when this happens they missed scanning it at the post office, and when it lands at your local PO, they scan it

However, if my stuff doesn't hit by the 12th like it's supposed to, there will be blood. there's a late xmas present for my mom in there

did you order it with the Free Shipping option?

I did that when I picked up Cars and Ratatouille. I was told the order shipped the day after ordering but it sat there for 3 or 4 days before actually being picked up. Still got the order 2 days before the scheduled deliver day though. Man I love living 20 miles from Amazons distribution center.

Is it common that people recieve their packages earlier than Amazon's expected delivery date? I ordered the first 4 potter movies during the bogo and the expected delivery date is JAn 23rd.... I was hoping to get it earlier.

Yes it's very common to receive your order before the estimated delivery date. I'm not that far from the nearest distro center. I've only used my free shipping option once. The only difference I noticed is that it takes longer to process and ship your order but the actual delivery time is still about the same. Which why this is kind annoying that it's taking longer than usual to receive my order since I paid for the shipping. Maybe I should just choose free shipping for my preorder Bds from now on?

Hey what's up DeeChizzle, you sent me your TV settings yesterday. Yeah I'm in Northridge (San Fernando Valley). I got Sunshine, 3:10 to Yuma, the Rock on Wednesday and I had the free super saver shipping.

My status always stays on Shipper notified, but I always get my movies the following day after the release date even with the free super saving shipper.

Sup Conquest. How did those TV settings work out for you? My order been on shipper notified since the 7th. I'm impatient...I went out and bought the Rock & Man on Fire today. Probably the last time I preorder from Amazon. Thanks for giving me the heads up about your order.
