Default Best Buy Commercial... Did I hear this right?

I was watching tv last night and heard a commercial that talked about getting a Panasonic tv (?) and blu-ray. Absolutely NO mention of HD DVD. Did I hear this right?

Didn't anyone tell you? It was opposite day yesterday, so every time they said Blu-ray they meant HD DVD.

It's a promotion that has been going on for a little while now (and I hope to be able to take advantage of it sometime soon hehe).
It's nice to see it advertised on TV though

I was in a Best Buy yest. and walked past the HD-DVD display and there was nothing on it. The screen said "Insert Disc". It was sandwiched between 3 beautiful Blu displays. I couldn't help but grin as I walked past it.

Yesterday, I went to Best Buy with a buddy of mine to browse around because we were bored and I came across the blu-ray dvd section and found an HD-DVD movie in the blu-ray section. So then I picked up the HD-DVD disc like if it were a dirty pair of crusty underwear and placed it where it originally came from

Best Buy CEO made it clear in his statement that they do not like the format war at all. There are sure to be biased from now on that hd dvd has been given a few months to live

On going promotion. My upstairs set died last week and I stop in yesterday to look at TVs. Ending up buying a Panasonic 42" plasma and they threw in a BD-30 and 5 movies plus the 5 free movie rebate. What they actually do is discount the cost of the BD-30 from the TV then charge for the BD-30.

Forgot the mention that they had the Warner announcement printed out and place between the price tags of the Toshiba A3 and A30.
