Cool Lets hear it...

so, im looking to spend $1500 and under. i would like the best LCD (1080i/p) that i can get around 42". does anyone have a suggestion, i will only be using it for blu-rays so quality has to be fair.

I think you can get a Sony Bravia around 40 inches for near that price or pretty close to it on the street...

I'd stick to major A brands like that and go to the stores of your choice and check them out in person as much as you can. See the picture quality and check to make sure you can get something with all the features you want.

I'd recommend trying to be a little flexibile with that budget if you can. You'll be a lot happier in the long run.

I would recommend taking a look at Sharp Aquos 42" 1080P LCD at Costco. I believe they are selling it for around $1400 or $1500 now.
