Network commercial time is available to anyone who'll pay for it, generally.

Reading too much into this. If you can afford the airtime, they will play it.

Definitely reading too much... just like how new Dreamworks, Paramount and Universal trailers have been showng up on PS3 store for several months. Not many people refuse commercial revenue unless it's inappropriate for the timeslot (like Budweiser during a Sesame Street special).

Grasping??? Where are the die hard fans that grasp at everything like posts in other boards as real news. I think this is significant. Sure Blu paid for the advertisements but if Universal truly had a contract still with DUDS...then TV spots for Blu definately would not be allowed on Universal HD. But oh well, i'm grasping so shoot me....

You are kidding me right? There have been blu commercials on it for a long time...even before the whole WB thing.

There are die hard fans who use logic and die hard fans who don't use logic. Logic says, anybody can pay for an advertisement. Nothing of importance for Blu on Universal HD

If TV isn't teaching kids about the King of Beer, then who will?

I saw three Viagra commercials in a row during an episode of Fosters home for Imaginary something or others a couple of months ago.
