Default Does anyone play MotorStorm?

I finally unwrapped my copy of MotorStorm and was wondering if people still play.

And I was wondering if any of the PSN add-ons are worth the purchase (fun wise).

I just did a race twice and didn't qualify (4th place). I love this little ATV.

This morning I put in PGR 4 for the 360 and was bored in under 8 seconds. It just feels like crap. MS is so much better (and GT5 will kick ass).

The one game on the 360 I enjoyed was Test Drive: Unlimited, because you could "free drive" around the game without racing.

Anyway, back to MotorStorm.

Yea, I still play it once in a while. I hessitated on the add-ons because I read all over the web that the new track was just one of the old tracks in reverse. NOT TRUE it is a totally different track and for the price I feel the add-ons are worth it. The game is lots of fun, I only wish you could change some of the controller settings. Trigger for throttle gets annoying. JMO

Cool I still play

I haven't bought the add-ons though. My suggestion is to play it through, if you beat it and are still looking for a challenge then spring for the expansion. The other bonus is that you will get some "new" vehicles to play with. I haven't heard whether they are any fun or not. I am a huge fan of the bikes myself, and, believe it or not, the Semi's. I love the Semi's.

Bottom line, have fun with it and don't get discouraged. I have a horrible record racing but I still love it.

I played the game 6 times and then traded it in for Rainbow 6. Felt the game did not lead up to all anticipations from the trailers, reviews and such.

I got teh addons. I couldn't resist the bus. My coworker used to try to get me to leave work early so we could go to my house, drink and play motorstorm. Great fun.

you can change the controls so that x is for throttle. its on the main screen. I dont have the game on right now but i know can change it so that x is throttle and the trigger is boost.

I'm not big on racing games. The only one I really enjoyed were the Need For Speed Underground games. Motorstorm is fun but it's kind of blah at the same time. I should trade it.

I think it's fun (the kids love it), but I was disappointed that there is no off-line multiplayer. Oh well. I love the variety of vehicles to choose from, tho. It adds some depth to what might otherwise be a shallow racer.

Yeah I got Motorstorm and Lair with the system, and enjoy them both. My 2 year old son loves em too.

I play a lot. I have the add-ons but I haven't played much with them yet. I was gonna wait until I beat all the standard tracks but I'm stuck like 4 races away from the end =\

DUDe...the crashing is the most fun!

Ride the bikes and see how brutally you can die. When your head leaves an imprint in the sand you know Havok is at play!

Seriously, I played this with family over the holidays and it was tons of entertainment.

Now that I've come home and just purchased the 80G I've got the game and enjoying it.

It's one of my favorite games. When I first started playing though, I'd sometimes get frustrated after coming close to completing an almost-flawless race only to have someone (computer AI driver) cause me to crash a few yards from the finish-line. Of course, several people would pass me before I'd recover keeping me from qualifying. Anyway, I love the game and it's usually the game that seems to draw people in (that I'm showing the PS3 to).

I like this game. When I have a crash, I pause it while my dude is flying through the air. Then i use the joysticks to see the mangled body from all different directions.

I haven't bought the add ons but am sure I will in the next few months

There is a few things they could have changed. such as multiplayer w/ out being online and i wish you could pick any track and vehicle for practice races. If they change some of that with MS2 then i will prolly purchase it.
