I saw part of Phantom Of The Opera on HD-DVD a couple of months ago on a small plasma and I liked how it looked so I decided to buy it then (On BD of course

). The Searchers, shot in VistaVision (at 1.78, a 19mm x 34mm negative image, about 3 times the negative area of the LOR for example (10mm x 24mm)) is a MUST HAVE for me, as I think the 1080p frame matches VistaVision pretty good

. Unforgiven was one of the first (If not the first) of the rare 16:9 coded Laserdiscs. I never got a chance to find one, and I bypassed the DVD, so it's all good

. Other titles I hope will be great and/or demo material to have and show when friends come over to see what it's all about

If I get all of those, I'm smiling this week (insert another green toothy here)

Picking up M:I boxset, and POTO. Thank god for a "light week" as the 14th is going to lighten my wallet quite a bit.
