As the titles states, I’m sure we’ve all been guilty of it. I know I certainly am. Is it ever an excuse to buy a movie you don’t particularly like if the movie has been given a good 4K release. Does a great visual experience make up for bad script, dialogue etc....? I did it with Alien: Covenant and some of the Transformers Movies, and do get enjoyment out of how awesome the picture is, even if the movie is rubbish.
