Does anoyone know if either camps are planing anything big for the Superbowl.

I think this would be an awesome time to show America & the World Blu Dominance.

I don't even know how much 30 secs. of air time in the first quarter of the game costs. I'd imagine somewhere in the millions. I hope they are doing something, but they have to decide whether to pay the price get the commercial in the first half of the game to reach the maximum audience.

Methinks there will be some sort of PS3 ad, as there have been many during regular season NFL contests. That would most definitely include a Blu-ray pitch.

I think it is 2.7 million for 30 seconds this year. That would be awesome if they had a commercial, but I doubt they will.

There will undoubtedly be a commercial for an upcoming DVD release. If that movie is also on blu i'm sure it will be mentioned.

Probably a LOT higher now, given that I heard American Idol 30-second ad spots cost about $2m. Sickening.

Apple and GoDaddy will probably advertise for sure (they have for the last several years). I think Blu-ray will only get coverage if Disney or Warner advertises, which they might.

Isn't the SuperBowl being shown on Fox this year?

I really hope they have a BD commercial, that would just make my day, and get my instant vote for best commercial!

It'll even beat the ones with the babes that I always say are the best...

GoDaddy is a no this year at the Super Bowl, fyi. I will search for the link.

The PS3 commercial which shows the games and BD movies would be awesome for a super bowl commercial.

Sucks about GoDaddy... I always enjoy their "hot girl" commercials.

I agree with you on the PS3 commercial--that would be nice.

If the Pats make it (please please please), the NFL might set a record in viewers. A lot of bandwagon interest there, in addition to us die-hard fans.
