Indicator UHD Discussion Thread - Blu-ray Forum

Per their newsletter, Indicator will be releasing 4K UHDs starting in early 2023:

Secondly, in a few weeks' time we will be announcing our January 2023 titles. And, just as the start of 2022 saw the launch of our INDICATOR line in the US and Canada, so too will the new year see an exciting development for us: the appearance of the first INDICATOR 4K UHD titles, for the UK and US. We won't say any more at this moment, so stay tuned for more details in our October announcement!

It's already been rumored that they will be releasing a Jean Rollin 4K boxset. I will update this post once they officially announce their titles.

OMFG a Jean Rollin 4K set?! I dare not even dream. This year has been so crowded with amazing announcements but that might top them all for me.

Right now it's heard from a friend of a friend on the Criterion forum, but Indicator did at least confirm The Nude Vampire in some fashion in the latest newsletter.

All Jean Rollin films need brand new scans - based on blu-rays I’ve watched, so fingers crossed for the best for a Rollin 4K release.

Good news, some really great titles in their current catalog to upgrade to 4K. Give me at least:

Body Double
Night of the Demon
Fat City
The Lady from Shanghai
Experiment in Terror
Some fine Ray Harryhausen and Hammer/Amicus titles

The Swimmer and The Big Gundown would be at the top of the list but they are either recent or upcoming releases on regular BD.

I hope they are individually packaged or something and not all in one case. Especially since there will probably be gaps and not chronological.

Would love to get The Swimmer on UHD, but I doubt they'd release it so soon after they released the Blu-Ray.

This is great news for 4K fans! I for one would love 10 Rillington Place in 4K. That's a really good movie.
