Depends, will it be a crappy port which runs at 3 frames per second?

Damn that game does have some graphics on IT! That would be a nice way to throw sand in the 360's eyes(im assuming the puny system cant handle the graphics)

Whatever EA touches turn to pile of dog poop, that's a fact. If this is done in-house by the original developer, it should turn out pretty decent.

Blame EA. They hate the PS3.

from what i've heard about the game, even the pc version had to be tamed because hardware isn't far enough along yet. i say they can keep the game since its all flashy graphics to begin with anyways

lol "all flashy graphics"... I guess we have not played the game as much as you, care to elaborate?

I have seen tech demo's demonstrating much more than "flashy graphics" with things such as destructible environments, real time lighting, ect..

Oh yeah and the develop has confirmed that this is in development for the PS3.. and is not for the 360 due to "technical limitations".. how do you like that?

i'm just saying its not half life 2 or anything. its your run of the mill fps, but..this one looks a lot better. but compared to the tech demo's before the game was released, some stuff was cut back so pc's could run the game. expect even more cuts to get it running on the ps3. ps3 might have cell, but the memory is lacking for a game like this.

From what I've read and seen on my friend's super high-end PC, the game graphics can't even be fully appreciated with current technology. The gameplay is like crippled when everything is at high.

I haven't been updated, but the last time I read anything about a console port, it was the developers saying that any port (even the PS3's) would be severely watered-down. They just don't know how to utilize the tech yet.

PS3 and the 360 lack the resources without seriously dialing down everything in this game. It's going to be the hotrod PC killer for a very very long time along with Supreme "Quad Core you say? Well, I guess I can render a few more frames of the 62000 fighters i nthe air" Commmander

EA is not developing this game on the PS3. I did not know we had so many developers on this board, that now what can and cannot be ported from this game to the PS3. I find that amusing to say the least.

Making bland bold statements like this game MUST be watered down, or is going to have to have stuff left out to make a PS3 port, when it is not even completed for the PC yet is just plain ignorant.

We can get into technical discussions if you like, but from looking at the bold statements you are either a developer working on portions of this game, or as I am assuming a end gamer who really does not have any inside knowledge about this or any game being developed on the PS3 or any other system.

The PS3 does not need 2GB of RAM as a PC does, as a PC needs 512MB just to run the O.S., and it is not a dedicated gaming platform, quite simply games do not run as efficiently on a PC platform as they do on ANY gaming platform.

right now the developers are stating they are putting MORE, yes MORE into the PS3 version than what is included in the PC version. Think expansion pack included.. couple more levels, and PS3 specific items. It is not only possible, but also is what they are actually already working on doing now.

I was personally saying that was the last thing that I read bout the game, that it had to be watered-down for consoles.

I still believe that 100% for the near-future.

x - How do you "water down" a game that has not been released? Watered down from what? What specifically has been taken out of the game from the PC version? Please provide a link, I would enjoy reading up on that.

cruzzer - where did you read it had to be watered down for consoles? A., it was never coming to consoles, this is first public news that it is, and this news only states that they are adding additional content.. so please provide your link stating this game is being watered down for consoles.. I would enjoy reading that.

I believe 100% I am going to nail Haley Berry, but does not mean it is true, or that I should be posting it on the Haley Berry forum.
