Is anyone watching this great HBO mini-series?

It’s an alternate-history show where Charles Lindbergh gets elected president in 1940. It deals with the consequences for a Jewish family.

It’s 6 total episodes, 4 which have aired so far. On Monday nights on HBO.

I’m really enjoying it. Wish it were going to be more than just 6 episodes.

Yes, I was going to blind buy when it came out on BD, since I end up buying everything by David Simon on BD (still waiting on Homicide and the Corner). Then I got a few days of HBO free and watched the first 5 episodes. Now I have to pay for a month of HBO since no way can I wait on the last episode. Great show.

Without any spoilers, tonight’s extended finale episode was amazing writing and acting.

If you have HBO and have 6 hours to watch something amazing, I really recommend this show.

I'm two episodes in and I'm not entirely sold on this yet, but I will stick with it as I read that it gets more gripping later on. They certainly threw money at this, excellent production values.

The first few eps are the weakest. It really kicks a goal in the final three. Great show. Turturro is incredible.

As with all David Simon shows, it take a couple of episodes to get going, but TBH it's not quite up to the standards of his previous works, but even David Simon cooking at 80% is still better than 90% of the stuff out there.

Never heard of this (I don't have HBO)......hopefully it receives a Blu-ray release.

Unfortunately, maybe not. HBO hasn't release the Deuce Season 3 on BD and now it is scheduled to come out on DVD.
