Now that HD-DVD has dead it's long and pianful death. Will rare titles like Shooter be re-released on Blu-ray? I really like this movie but don't want to pay £50+ just because it rare??

lol chances are it will eventually go down in price when paramount joins the fold but i dont see it happening for at least a good 6 months

Goodness, didn't realize Shooter was a "rare" BD until I saw your post. Got mine at BB several weeks ago for normal price.

mine was relatively expensive but thats cuz im in canada i think it came out to 34$ CAD

Got mine for $19. at Willow Video in Langley. Lately they haven't had much. They sell all their bd's at that price, even the Fox titles.

I bought my copy as soon as Paramount announced that they were dropping Blu. In fact I bought Shooter and Disturbia that horrible day. I agree both have outstanding PQ but neither includes lossless audio. So I actually hope that when Paramount comes home they redo their titles with no lossless audio to include lossless audio.

Yeah, I picked it up on standard DVD myself, before I went high def with Blu. But considering the all the hype about the PQ, I thought I'd give it a go on Blu.

I think Amazon has spoiled me. I saw this at the BX and didn't want to pay 29.99 for it. lol.
