I do not care, I am def. buying this movie.
It's full of laughs!

I think OP is just mad because it's making fun of people like him

I'm just kidding!

At 3.5/5.0 I skipped this as well. So many things coming out that upgrading for an average scored movie right now doesn't seem worth it. The movie was quite funny but, without a rebate or deal, I'll wait until it goes down to $14.99 or less. Everyone is entitled to there own oppinions, the OP just chose to express them in a not very smart way.

Awesome movie but the PQ does SUCK!

Excessive DNR/EE up the you know what! If you go by the review on here, you are a fool. Check reviews for the HD DVD and view all the negatives following it. The video is a port over but the audio is a upgrade.

People who say "It looks fine to me" are more then likey viewing on a tiny display or they are need their eyes checked... In this case both. Also, viewing from a far distance can make most anything bad look 'fine'.

I think the presentation (both video and audio) were pretty good. nothing that is going to blow you away - its a comedy, afterall - but a solid disc from Universal. There is some EE issues, but its doesn't make the movie unwatchable, and is easily the best the film has ever looked.

Hopefully my comedies will be cheap when I get to transfering them, that will give me more incentive to get them :/

Let me re-phrase. I love the movie itself. Its HI-larious! I meant the BD transfer is not good. The review you posted a link too doesn't give the BD transfer good marks either.

Not every movie can look like i Robot or Pirates. Sometimes it is just unecessary to put that much into a film that won't gain anything from an enhanced video quality.

was tempted to cancel my order after reading all the negative reviews, but I was buying the 3 pack as I never bought knocked up and was looking forward to sarah marshall. I do already own the 40 yr old virgin on DVD but the 3 pack was a decent enough deal. Having both the theatrical and unrated cuts included helped seal the deal as well.

I don't agree with this statement though. I think every movie would benefit from no DNR or EE.
