Question Knocked Up & 40 Year Old Virgin

I noticed that 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up were in the Best Buy add for $24.99 each this week, instead of the 30th. WTH?

Hopefully it has a new transfer compared to the EE-riddled HD DVD.

Looking foward to Knocked up...However, I remember the review @ HDD had something to say regarding the skin tones looking yellowish.

I am looking forward to these, however, I am more excited about Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

The EE wasn't the only problem... let's not forget about the overly decusting amount of DNR

I'm thinking *hoping* they will re-do this as they have done re-encodes for each Blu-ray (some better then HD DVD, some worse) but the point is, it does have a chance... It comes with both versions while the HD DVD was just the unrated. Let's hope the master isn't the source of the problem.

I am probably in the minority but I will be passing on both of these. I will stick with my DVD copies. I wouldn't watch them that much if I had the on blu. I think I have only watch Knocked Up twice since it original release date. I will use the money on another Blu.

I'll be picking all three up. While KNOCKED UP is my favorite of the three, VIRGIN and MARSHALL were still consistently funny and emotional films that put them miles above what normally passes as comedy nowadays.

This and the PLANET OF THE APES series are the Blu-Rays I'm anticipating the most.
